Goat Cheese Balls

Goat Cheese Balls
Serves 12

One of the most elegant and simple ways to make a cheeseboard or holiday spread look fancy. Feel free to use what you have on hand. We love using a mixture of minced soft herbs (basil, chives, tarragon), nuts or dried fruits. We love pairing this with Orange Gold Aromatic, fresh, and vibrant wine with nuances of candied fruit and pepper allowing it to run the span of all flavors on a cheeseboard.

1 lb. goat cheese (about two 2 8-ounce logs)
½ cup chopped nuts such as walnuts, pistachios, or pecans
½ cup chopped soft herbs (such as chives, basil, dill, or tarragon)
½ cup chopped dried cranberries

Soften goat cheese by removing it from the refrigerator a few hours before rolling.

Roll cheese into about tablespoon size (1 ounce) balls. Roll each ball in the desired topping and serve with crackers or crudité.
